I've read an article some years ago on PETA about how veg(anism) should be about reducing animal suffering, not a purification process but that's what PETA says; it's ultimately on the individual. It would be utterly impossible for one to avoid cross contamination unless they cook everything from scratch, use processed food only from vegan or vegetarian companies, and or eat in vegetarian only restaurants. Some are anal about cross contamination, some aren't. If I was anal about that stuff I should of at least become a vegan by now. That's like asking a Christian if they believe in homosexuality. Some are for it, some aren't. There's no clear cut guideline that applies to everyone. I'm sure that patty was grilled on the same grill as their other crap too though I totally forgot that burger joints carry that fried chicken stuff but MY philosophy is "do whatever you can, better than nothing".

I think they fry their french fries on the same oil that chicken nuggets and chicken fries go to. Does that bother you? Does that go against lacto-vegetarianism? Seems like it does.
