Perfectly voluminous lashes with the power of Nordic nature! A mascara which combines unique Finnish blueberry seed oil with the exceptional characteristics of an innovative plastic mascara brush. Product size 7 ml / 0.24 FL. OZ.
Effect: Finnish blueberry seed oil protects and nourishes eye lashes. Perfectly shaped plastic brush guarantees tidy, curled, thick lashes – at the first stroke!
Nature & Science: Innovative brush technology! The flexible plastic brush curls lashes perfectly and thickens them neatly and tidily with a single stroke. The Lumene brand will have the exclusive rights to this brush model until Spring 2008.
Usage: Apply the mascara onto your lashes from root to tip using a delicate zigzag motion. Curl the lashes upwards using the flat side of the brush. Use the tip of the brush for more accuracy and to apply the mascara to the lower eyelashes. If you want to give your lashes more volume just apply more layers. The mascara is easy to remove with Lumene Eye Makeup Remover.
Curled Lashes, no mascara.

PROS
- The packaging was the mascara tube is probably the most attractive I’ve seen out of all the drug store mascaras. The tube has a glossy blue finish which reminds me of the Shiseido mascara base tube. But then again, I consider CVS to be a slightly higher end drugstore.
- The cap of the tube twists on and has a final snap, just like the Yves Saint Laurent mascara tubes.
- The brush prevented any globs of mascara from clinging on. It helped with clumping, at least for the first coat.
- Easy to remove, as with most non-waterproof mascaras.
CONS
- Did not hold my curl at all. To the mascara’s defense, it was not waterproof. However, it was advertised as a curling mascara, so I was hoping that maybe they managed to pull off some special formula. Lumene does make a waterproof version of this mascara, but I don’t think it’s available in the US.

it looks clumpy on the 3rd coat

I don’t like the look. It’s too clumpy. You could go with just one coat. The color is really nice black.
