yay!! glad it worked for you!! i took yasmine before too.. because i have bad hormone imbalance.. hence my bad acne since.. o i dunno forever.. yes I was acne free for the 1 year i was on yasmine.. but I got the unlucky sideffect of weight gain… my hormones r still off and still suffering from acne.. but I have been taking apo-tetra? this antibiotics my doc prescribed for my acne and its great!! now just have to worry about those of acne scarssss

Well, I’ve been taking Yasmin everyday and everything’s pretty much the same. My skin still looks great and I never have to worry about it. The scars have gradually faded since then.

Hi, can you do an update of your skin??
I am crazy about my acne!! It has just gotten worse and worse.
I also had a lot of improvements when I was on a certain BC but now I am on another BC pill because the first one gave me a lot of migraines..And to my dissapointment this pill is not helping at all with my acne =(
I want to do the Jazmin thing but I am not sure if it will give me headaches, and it’s pretty pricy too…Can you please do an update on your skin and how Jazmin has been helpful ? I would really appreciate it. Thanks =)

let me tell you that i have acne and it is similar to yours. my doctor also put me on yasmin and it got completely better. minimal scars but no acne at all. so i thought why not just go off the yaz. i mean i had been on it for 6 months and i didn’t want to take it any longer since it messes up your system so i went off it. no longer than a week after i went off it i thought i was doing good, no break outs nothing but then maybe two weeks later i started breaking out again. worse than before i went on the yaz and in places that i had never broken out before. i went back to my doctor and she recommended that i go back on it and start up the topical treatments again which i did not like.

long story short after i went back on the yaz it didn’t work anymore…at least not for the acne. my body was immune. and i found out after reading online that the yaz had given me an all over body yeast infection which was trying to purge out of my body through my skin. thus causing the acne. i had to go on a major detox to rid the excess yeast from my system. this was not pleasant since you have a restricted diet but it worked out.

the only reason why i am telling you this is to warn you against going off it. i know you say you won’t but you may want to in the future and there are major side effects.

Retin-A is supposed to clear acne as well as scars. Mederma works as well. But with all scar treatments, it’s a gradual process and takes patience. Apparently I don’t care about my scars as much as I say since I’m too lazy to use Retin-A.
